Limelight Denver, the first urban hotel concept from Aspen Hospitality - a division of Aspen One - announced the appointment of Kim Corrigan as General Manager. Corrigan brings more than three decades of experience in hotel management, hotel rebranding, guest services, team development, and revenue generation to Limelight Denver.
"Kim's deep knowledge of the Denver market, combined with her extensive hospitality experience, makes her an invaluable addition to our team," said Jeff Toscano, CEO Aspen Hospitality. "With her passion for the industry, sense of community, and proven track record with programming activation, we are confident that she will lead the team in continuing to elevate the Limelight experience in Denver."
Corrigan joins Limelight Denver from Sage Hospitality where she was most recently Vice President of Operations. Other previous positions include General Manager for The Gwen in Chicago as well as General Manager at Windsor Capital Group and Director of Marketing and Operations at Starwood Vacation Ownership.
Corrigan is a graduate of Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and has served on several Boards including the Chicago Loop Alliance and Wabash Arts Corridor Advisory Board in Chicago, the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association and 14th Street General Improvement District in Denver and currently serves on the Cherry Arts and Visit Denver boards as well as acts as a Mentor in the University of Denver's LEAD Mentorship program and volunteers for several charitable organizations.
"I'm thrilled and honored to join this incredible team and to continue driving the Limelight brand forward in such an inspiring urban setting. Aspen Hospitality's commitment to creating memorable experiences and delivering exceptional service aligns perfectly with my own values. Together, I'm excited to help shape the future of this exceptional brand and elevate the guest experience in new and innovative ways," said Kim Corrigan, GM of Limelight Denver.
Limelight Denver began the next chapter of Aspen Hospitality's growth last year as the first urban location for the brand. The property joined the existing Limelight hotels in Aspen and Snowmass, Colorado and in Ketchum, Idaho. Two new Limelight properties are in development including Limelight Boulder in Colorado and Limelight Mammoth in California - both anticipated to open in 2025.
Located in the heart of the city, Limelight Denver combines the elevated mountain charm of the existing properties with the sophistication of the Mile High City. The hotel features 200 guest rooms, 14,000 square feet of naturally lit and architecturally unique meeting space, and its newly opened Ajax Downtown restaurant.
