Aqua-Aston Hospitality Promotes Kimari Pada to Hotel Manager of Aqua Bamboo Waikiki
Aqua-Aston Hospitality, a leader in hospitality management known for its owned brands in Hawaii, the continental United States, and Central America, has announced the promotion of Kimari Pada to the role of hotel manager. Formerly the hotel's guest service manager, Pada has been promoted from within, and will now lead operations at the Aqua Bamboo Waikiki hotel. She reports to Jeff Caminos, vice president of operations, Aqua-Aston Hospitality.
Aqua Bamboo Waikiki is a boutique hotel located on Kuhio Avenue in the heart of Waikiki, featuring an outdoor sanctuary complete with a waterfall pool, jet spa, swaying palms and plenty of relaxing lounge spaces. The International Marketplace, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium and Diamond Head State Monument are a short distance from the property. At Aqua Bamboo Waikiki, guests can choose from an array of contemporary accommodations, including standard city view rooms, suites with kitchenettes, and premium 1-bedroom suites equipped with a full kitchen and a private lanai.
As hotel manager, Pada is accountable for the overall operations at Aqua Bamboo Waikiki, focusing on administration, marketing, owner communications, and delivering an elevated guest experience.
"Kimari's skills from various roles at this property underscore her ability to deliver an excellent experience for our guests,” said Caminos. “We are very pleased to promote Kimari to this new leadership role and see her continue to grow through her knowledge of association management and the hotel program.”
Pada's more than six-year-tenure at Aqua Bamboo Waikiki includes many positions from on-call night auditor to interim hotel manager, along with industry accolades such as the 2016 No Po'e Pa'ahana Honoree for Front Desk Person of the Year and the 2017 Club Excellence Silver Star.
