Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto Welcomes New General Manager Ron Pellerine
Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto announces the appointment of Ron Pellerine to the position of general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto. Pellerine joins the hotel from the 317-room Langham Hotel, Boston where he served as general manager from 2015 to March 2017. Pellerine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, covering all aspects of hotel operations, including a particular passion for food and beverage.

Prior to his time in Boston, Pellerine held the position of general manager of the Langham Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, where he oversaw Canada's largest hotel with 1,590 guest rooms and suites. Pellerine was first appointed to general manager in 2011, when the property was managed by Delta. During his tenure, he managed the property as it went through a rebranding and a CAD30 million (about USD23.5 million) renovation. Preceding his time at the Langham Hospitality Group, Pellerine worked internationally throughout Europe and Asia with the AccorHotels Group.
