WASHINGTON, DC, September 18, 2006. Associated Luxury Hotels, which provides meeting professionals with authorized "one-call" national sales access to their impressive luxury portfolio of four- and five-diamond quality resorts and hotels, has added three hotels on the U.S. West Coast to its membership. Pan Pacific Seattle, set to open this fall, becomes Associated Luxury Hotels' first member in Washington state. The all-new InterContinental San Francisco, slated to open in 2007, joins the renowned "Mark Hopkins" as a member in San Francisco. Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa joins ALHI as the first member in Rancho Mirage, California.

"We have outstanding luxury hotel and resort options for meeting professionals on the West Coast, and these new gems only enhance the opportunity for us to provide the absolutely right solution for planners," said David Gabri, president and CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels, which has the national sales responsibilities for its membership of more than 80 of America's premier four- and five-star quality hotels and resorts, plus several extraordinary international hotels and resorts in Canada, Mexico, The Caribbean and Europe.

"With hotels and resorts in locations stretching from Vancouver to Los Cabos, we have something in the portfolio for any meeting professional wishing to coordinate a meeting, convention, exhibition or incentive group on the West Coast. Each property offers something unique, so our sales professionals can assist in determining which location would be the ideal fit for each group," Gabri added.

The brand new Pan Pacific Seattle is scheduled to open in November 2006 with 160 spacious Hirsch Bedner-designed guest rooms, many with views of South Lake Union and the Space Needle. Described as "high touch, high tech and high style," the hotel will feature wireless and Ethernet high-speed internet connectivity in guest rooms and public spaces, 32" high-definition plasma televisions, a smart room motion sensor to keep your room efficient when not occupied, an on-site Whole Foods Market, Starbucks, a full-service spa, a fitness center and two restaurants. The hotel's 5,554 square feet of meeting space includes a 1,674-square-foot ballroom with an outdoor terrace overlooking Seattle's Space Needle. The hotel is just 6 blocks from the Washington State Convention Center.

The InterContinental San Francisco is a 550-room hotel under construction in San Francisco's financial district. Slated to open in late 2007, the 32-story hotel will feature 27,925 square feet of meeting space and will be located in the city's South of Market Area (SOMA) at the corner of Howard and Fifth streets. Its design will be consistent with that of the Moscone West addition of the San Francisco Convention Center, which is adjacent to the hotel. The hotel's first floor will contain the lobby and restaurants, floors two through five will feature the meeting space, the sixth floor will contain a health club and spa, and floors seven through 32 will contain guest rooms. The hotel will be in close proximity to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Metreon/Sony Entertainment Center, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the Jewish Museum San Francisco, the Mexican Museum and the San Francisco Historical Museum.

Set within 240 garden acres surrounded by the beautiful San Jacinto mountain range, the 444-room Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa features 28 spacious and well-appointed meeting rooms that comprise 41,000 square feet of meeting space. Featuring charming Spanish architecture, the Palm Springs area resort offers 27 holes of championship golf, the Peter Burwash International Tennis Center, the 20,000-square-foot Spa Las Palmas, a swimming and recreation area with children's pool and waterslide, a whirlpool, spa pool, and an array of dining options.

As The InterContinental San Francisco, Pan Pacific Seattle and Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa become members of Associated Luxury Hotels, they join such other prestigious West Coast members as Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Disneyland Hotel, Claremont Resort & Spa, La Costa Resort and Spa, Loews Coronado Bay Resort & Spa, Miramonte Resort & Spa, La Quinta Resort & Club, Resort at Squaw Creek, Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, The Inn at Spanish Bay, The Lodge at Pebble Beach, Terranea Resort, and Hotel del Coronado.
