BRANSON, MO March 22, 2016 - Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center, located in the picturesque Ozark Mountains overlooking pristine Table Rock Lake in Southwest Missouri, has received the coveted AAA Four Diamond Award for the 18th consecutive year. The resort is in an elite circle of AAA Four Diamond winners, as only 4% of the more than 58,000 AAA-rated establishments attain this high level of excellence. It is the only hotel or resort in Branson to hold the prestigious AAA Four Diamond rating in 2016.

Widely considered one of the finest resorts in the Midwest, the lakefront resort features 301 recently renovated guest rooms and suites, 43,500 square feet of meeting space all on one level, and many scenic outdoor venues. The resort also is a consistent recipient of the meeting industry's highest honors, including Successful Meetings magazine's prestigious “Pinnacle Award,” which it captured for the 10th time this year.

The AAA Four Diamond symbol will be included in the resort's listing in the 2016 edition of AAA's Missouri TourBook guide. AAA's team of full-time professional field inspectors conduct over 70,000 unannounced evaluations of hotels and restaurants and assign a rating of one to five diamonds to qualifying establishments in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. AAA has included lodging information in its travel publications since the early 1900s. The association began rating hotels and other accommodations in 1963, adopting the Diamond symbol in 1977.

Not resting on its many laurels, Chateau on the Lake Resort & Spa completed the renovation of its 301 guest rooms and suites, and the renovation of all of its smaller meeting rooms, in January 2015. In addition, in January 2015 the resort added a new Executive Board Room with state-of-the-art A/V and technology capabilities, and enhanced all of its meeting space (including its 32,000-square-foot Great Hall ballroom) with new LED lighting, new flex-back banquet chairs, and new “linenless” meeting tables.

The resort's guest rooms and suites now feature Serta Perfect Sleeper plush mattresses, elegant cherry wood headboards, custom-made toppers with down insert, two types of fluffy king-size pillows, and 300 thread-count sateen sheets. In addition to the new offerings, the resort's spacious guest rooms and suites feature tiled stone baths, 37” inch flat-screen HD televisions, dual-line telephones, Free Wi-Fi, iron and ironing board, Keurig coffee maker featuring Green Mountain Coffee made from Central American and Indonesian beans, in-room safes, and in-room on-demand movies (at a nominal fee).

Providing beautiful vistas of pristine Table Rock Lake, lush gardens, and the surrounding mountains, the resort boasts an impressive array of recreational options. This includes the exceptional 14,000-square-foot Spa Chateau.
