New Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place Appoints Matthew Boris as GM

JUPITER. FL - June 11, 2014 - Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place, Jupiter's newest upscale hotel scheduled to open this September, recently announced the appointment of Matthew Boris as general manager. Boris is responsible for all efforts leading up to the hotel's opening as well as managing day-to-day operations and hotel staff upon opening.

Boris will oversee operations in the hotel's guest rooms, food and beverage outlets such as deep blu seafood grille and the property's 15,000-square-feet of meeting and event space. He will also work implement strategies to meet and exceed guest needs and foster partnerships with the local community.

With more than 15 years of hospitality industry experience, Boris is versed in property opening, management and operations. Most recently, he held several roles ranging from director of operations to hotel manager at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, which opened in 2011.

Boris' portfolio boasts opening and managerial experience for a number of resorts in Florida, including the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. He also directed or assisted openings for six resorts and hotels including Westin Imagine Orlando and Reunion Resort.

Prior to joining the Wyndham® brand, Boris held positions as director of operations at the Westin Imagine Orlando, director of guest services at Reunion Resort as well as director of front office operations at Walt Disney World's Swan and Dolphin Resort. Boris began his hospitality career with the esteemed Walt Disney World College Program. Boris is Six Sigma certified and a regular speaker at the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management in Orlando.
