Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) Expands Sales Team In Northeast

June 3, 2014 - Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has expanded its sales team with the addition of two new Global Sales professionals to its Northeast U.S. Global Sales Office. Joanne Kolata has joined ALHI as Regional Vice President of Sales for the Northeast U.S. region, and Ashley James has joined as Director of Sales for the Northeast U.S. region. Both Kolata and James are based in ALHI's Global Sales Office in New York City. The announcement of the appointments was made jointly by ALHI President Jim Schultenover, and ALHI Division Vice President Ashly Balding.

Highly respected hospitality industry sales professional Kolata brings a wealth of experience to ALHI. In her new position she is responsible for leading ALHI's Global Sales team in the Northeast region, in serving meeting professionals, association executives, convention specialists, and business executives with ALHI's Global Sales Organization (GSO) services and support for its distinctive portfolio of more than 160 Four- and Five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts worldwide, with more than 115,000 rooms and suites and nearly 10 million square feet of meeting space.

Kolata comes to ALHI from Morgans Hotel Group, where she served for the past two years as the Regional Director of Sales in New York, where she productively led a team of 10 sales professionals for four New York City Morgans Hotels. Her experience also includes sales positions with InterContinental Hotel Group in New York, and Hilton Hotels, which includes the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. James comes to ALHI from USMotivation Meeting Services where she was a Senior Account Manager based in New York City since 2006. In her previous role, she acted both as a Strategic Account Manager and in operations which allowed her the opportunity to interact with the ALHI team on many of her clients' programs.
