First Call Hospitality Announces New GM and DoS at Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park

New GM Joshua Wilson and DOS Rhea Hayes lead Operational and Sales efforts at 125-room Overland Park, Kansas hotel.

(FCH) has announced the hiring of Joshua Wilson as General Manager and Rhea Hayes as Director Of Sales at the Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park, Kansas, located just 20 minutes from Kansas City. Joshua and Rhea bring significant hospitality leadership experience to their positions, with both having impressive Hilton backgrounds. Each has worked at the Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park for over 5 years.

About General Manager Joshua Wilson

Joshua started at the hotel as Night Auditor in 2002, working his way up to Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager and now General Manager. A detail-oriented administrator and customer-relations specialist, Joshua has been an integral part of the property's revenue management operations, utilizing Hilton's new Global Revenue Optimization Program.

Aside from the hospitality industry, Joshua spent four years as a Cross-Cultural Leadership Development Trainer for All Nations Inc. in Kathmandu, Nepal. He was in charge of leading training seminars in villages throughout the country of Nepal teaching local Christians key principles for starting new churches and for developing and training new leaders. Joshua attended Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX where he perused a Cross-Cultural Missions degree and received a Certificate in Cross-Cultural Church Planting from All Nations CPx - School of Cross-Cultural Ministry.

About Director of Sales Rhea Hayes

Rhea returns to the Director Of Sales position at the Hilton Garden Inn after leaving in 2005 to become a stay-at-home mother. Her 18-year career has seen her work at full-service and limited-service hotels as well as the restaurant industry. Rhea has a history of proven success and is known for creating a well-organized office and maintaining lasting relationships with clients.

Other than working in hotels, Rhea, cares for her family and is an active member of her community. She is a Cub Scout Den Mother and volunteer, and has volunteered for various positions at Peace Church and St. Andrew Christian Church.
