BOCA RATON, FLORIDA - DECEMBER 30, 2013 - Guests staying at the newly updated, award-winning Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montrose will enjoy an upgraded experience following the $2.1 million recent renovation. Located in the home of the Black Canyon and serving as a gateway to outdoor fun amidst the breathtaking scenery of the San Juan Mountains, this property features 122 rooms and suites.

The renovated property highlights the newest brand feature by blending the Great Room into the lobby. Communal tables and TV's greet guests wanting to use their computers and work together in the lobby. The great room, where breakfast is served, was also expanded into the lobby. All tables and chairs throughout were replaced to refresh the hotel's look and feel. A new ceramic tile floor was installed in the lobby along with new furniture, wall coverings and lighting to complete a cozy atmosphere.

The renovation brightened all guest rooms and corridors with all-new furniture, lighting, wall coverings, curtains and bedding to make guests feel comfortable while staying at the property. The exercise room was upgraded with new flooring, wall treatments and new machinery to provide guests with the ultimate physical experience. Guests who enjoy outdoor swimming can use the re-surfaced pool, new pool deck and renovated outdoor spa.

Flexible meeting facilities were updated with new seating, carpet, wall coverings and lighting to make business conversations convenient and modern.

The property is located in downtown Montrose and offers its visitors incredible recreational opportunities such as fishing, hiking, rock climbing and hunting with amazing hot springs and world-class skiing just miles away.
