Tucson, Arizona - Deceember6, 2013 - GOLD, the fine-dining restaurant at Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa, marks its 20th consecutive year as a AAA Four Diamond establishment in 2014. GOLD is the only Tucson restaurant to maintain the coveted status for two full decades.

In addition, Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa received its fifth consecutive Four Diamond Award for commitment to excellence throughout the entire property. Since 1985, the AAA Diamond Ratings have ranked restaurants for America's travelers. Only 2.6% of some 29,000 AAA-rated restaurants reach Four Diamond status, which is defined as: “Distinctive fine-dining. Often a highly creative executive chef, imaginative presentations and market-fresh ingredients. Wine steward often available. Upscale ambiance.”

The rating comes just in time for the launch of GOLD's all-new decor and menu, refreshed and updated for 2014. Under Executive Chef Antonio Rodriguez, GOLD champions fresh, inventive Modern American cuisine, drawing from global flavors, but with a Southwestern influence. Ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible. Seasonal greens and fruits are harvested from the resort's organic Chef's Garden, which includes a grape arbor and more than a dozen fruit trees.
