. November 27, 2013

Miami Beach, FL - November 27, 2013 - After the completion of a $25 million dollar restoration endeavor, the historic Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach Oceanfront is pleased to announce its new LEED certified 93-guestroom oceanfront tower which will be completed December 2013. The Cadillac will now offer a total of 356 guest rooms, including 19 oversized suites with unparalleled ocean views, a new oceanfront salt-water pool, a state of the art gym, an updated lobby and indoor/outdoor meeting space, the renovated Carrabba's Surfside Tiki Bar and new poolside cabanas.

"The addition of the oceanfront tower along with our private beach and lengthy list of new amenities has transformed our hotel into a place that visitors can't help but stop to explore," said Joseph LaFleur, general manager of the Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach Oceanfront. "From the gorgeous ocean views to the enticing on-site dining options to the flexible and stylish new meeting spaces, we've created an atmosphere that is really going to complete the Miami experience for our guests."

This vintage South Beach classic has undergone multiple improvements making the Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach Oceanfront one of the premier boutique hotels in Miami Beach. The extensive renovation is a modern take on Miami's style and Art Deco history. To start, the lobby is more expansive and grand, featuring a new 32-foot lobby bar entitled Lounge DeVille; the main pool area has been completely redesigned with spacious cabanas and a deck that seamlessly fuses the outdoor space with the lounge through large operational glass panels; a breathtaking new salt-water pool is also being constructed as a part of the new LEED certified Oceanfront tower sitting beachfront along the popular boardwalk; and a state of the art gym with fitness programming has also been added.

To round out the exciting renovation highlights are the new guestrooms located in the Oceanfront Tower featuring a refreshing palette of brilliant hues, while elegant sheers frame the inviting view of the gorgeous beach below. The hotel's restaurants- the Cadillac Cafe, located in the new expansive lobby, and Carraba's Oceanfront Surfside Tiki Bar, the beachfront restaurant & bar- have a completely fresh aesthetic and will feature substantial upgrades. Overall, the concept for the renovation was to employ the unique motifs of the original Art Deco style reflecting the vibrancy of Miami by incorporating elements of the local beach culture with infused bright colors and rich harmonious textures.

The hotel will offer 5,803 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and stylish function areas including the Chrome Boardroom, totaling 525 square feet making perfect for hosting smaller groups, is equipped with ergonomic chairs for a board meeting of 15. Additionally, there will be a brand new meeting space entitled the Golden Vee Ballroom located in the new LEED certified Oceanfront Tower, which is slated to accommodate up to 120 guests featuring high ceilings, and 2,278 square feet of sustainable meeting space that opens up to the newly constructed outdoor space called The Lawn totaling 3000 sq. ft. equipped with an infinity pool and 9 full sized cabanas which can each fit up to a party of 8 guests each.

Whether indulging in a massage at the poolside cabanas or staying active in the gorgeous ocean waves with water sport activities available on site, guests can expect to piece together their perfect vacation at the Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach Oceanfront conveniently located in the heart of Miami Beach. Kids also appreciate a private beach area ideal for sandcastles and beach games, complimentary pool toys and tasty popsicles.
