Waterford Associates Honored as Stars of the Industry by the CLA for Hospitality Excellence

Waterford, CT - November 26, 2013 - In recognition of their outstanding hospitality achievements, three associates from Waterford Hotel Group were recently recognized by the Connecticut Lodging Association (CLA) as “Stars of the Industry” during the CLA's 109th Annual Meeting, held on November 20 at the Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa.

The CLA's “Stars of the Industry” Awards are presented annually to lodging employees that demonstrate exemplary professionalism and exceptional service. Associates and managers from the Hilton Hartford, Marriott Hartford Downtown and Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa were honored as Stars of the Industry, as follows:

John Fraher, General Manager, Marriott Hartford Downtown
Outstanding General Manager of the Year (over 151 rooms)

Gina Lavalley, Banquet Captain, Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa
Outstanding Food & Beverage Associate of the Year Award

Wanda Baez, Housekeeping Room Attendant, Hilton Hartford
Outstanding Housekeeping Associate of the Year
