Sgd100 Thousand Raised From Charity Auction
Dorsett Hospitality International & Diamond Resorts International Together With Web In Travel Raised Sgd100 Thousand In the Name of Charity
Singapore - October 29, 2013 - They came. They chilled. They networked. But more than these, they collectively did a good cause at the recently concluded Rooftop Party held at Dorsett Singapore.
The event jointly hosted by Dorsett Hospitality International and Diamond Resorts International, in partnership with Web In Travel was attended by more than 300 guests from the travel and trade related industry; members of the media, both international and from Singapore; and corporate companies. A total of SGD100 thousand was raised during the event, with the funds channeled to the Cambodian Phare Circus.
Highlight of the auction were a B/W print from Nic Gaunt, an international photographer commissioned by Dorsett Hospitality International to undertake all photography of the group's portfolio of hotels with Winnie Chiu, president and executive director throwing in a dinner with herself. On-the-spot contributions were also offered by Bruce Delfik, Partner of Diamond Resorts International who put up a 7-night stay in any of Diamond Resorts International's properties around the world inclusive of business class airfare for two persons; and three 7-night stay in Las Vegas inclusive of business class airfare for two persons, USD1000 worth of casino chips and dinner with a celebrity. A painting commissioned by Web In Travel was also put up for auction.
The event also marked the opening of Dorsett Singapore which represented Dorsett Hospitality International's first entry into the Singapore market.
