New Delhi - September 9, 2013 - Premier Inn, UK's largest mid-market hotel chain and part of Whitbread PLC, has been felicitated with 'Business Transformation, using IT as a Strategic Enabler' award for its unique IT infrastructure implementation, especially for Opera, across properties in India at the HATT Summit 2013 in Goa last week.

The theme of the summit was 'Innovate, Secure, Sustain & Transform', one of the most sought after signature and inspirational event held for the first time ever in the Industry covering all these verticals. The award is conferred to Premier Inn India as they consistently deliver on the theme. Premier Inn has attained high scores for its unique IT infrastructure, adoption and implementation of cloud technology in its management system.

The jury comprised of Ajay K Dhir, Chairman HATT Forum along with members of the advisory board of HATT Forum and APAC CXO Forum who are the experts from Hospitality, Healthcare, Aviation, Travel and Tourism industry. The conference witnessed participation by various Hotels & Resorts, National Tourist Organizations, Cruises, Airlines and Online Travel organizations.
