MODESTO, CA - July 19, 2013 - Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world's largest and most dynamic hotel groups, today announced the further expansion of the Park Inn by Radisson brand in North America with the opening of the Park Inn by Radisson, Modesto, Calif.

"The opening of the third Park Inn by Radisson in California represents the continued momentum of our Ambition 2015 growth strategy and is aligned with plans to grow Park Inn by Radisson as a winning midscale brand in North America," said Scott Meyer, senior vice president, Midscale Brands, Americas.

The brand has grown to more than 125 hotels in operation globally with 65 hotels currently in development.

The Park Inn by Radisson Modesto offers 114 standard rooms, six studio suites, one whirlpool suite and one spa king suite. Hotel amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor pool and whirlpool, complimentary high-speed, wireless Internet access throughout the hotel. Additionally on-site dining is available in the Cafe serving breakfast.

Located seven miles north of the Modesto airport, the hotel is ideal for business and leisure travelers. The property's 1240 square feet of meeting space consists of flexible conference and banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 100. In addition, the hotel also offers a full range of audiovisual equipment and catering services.
