Hilton Announces Two New Mexico Developments

July 1, 2013 - Hilton Worldwide today announced it has signed management agreements with Solfine Investment, S de RL de CV to manage the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Santa Fe in the state of Morelos, and with Consorcio Constructor e Inmobiliario Pegaso SA de CV to operate the Hilton Garden Inn Coatzacoalcos in the state of Veracruz. Scheduled to open in Q2 2015 and early 2016 respectively, the addition of these hotels serves as an example of the award-winning, mid-priced brands' continued growth in Latin America.

Located approximately 10 minutes from the international airport and 15 minutes from the capital city of Cuernavaca, the new build 120-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Santa Fe Morelos will form part of the Field of Golf Santa Fe development in the town of Xochitepec, which includes plans for residential homes and apartments, a school, an office building and a home for seniors. Travelers will also find themselves within a five-minute walk to the Science and Technology Park of Morelos and the World Trade Center, and just a 15-minute drive to Cuernavaca's CIVAC Business Park.

With an anticipated opening in Q2 2015, guests of the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Santa Fe Morelos will enjoy the brand's signature features such as free, hot breakfast, free high-speed Internet access, the Clean and Fresh Hampton bed® in all guestrooms and a stylish lobby with a zoned environment providing the ideal facilities for working, mingling or relaxing. Approximately 30 minutes from the international airport, guests of this new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Mexico will also find themselves 15 minutes from the city center and close to museums, shopping centers and major businesses such as the PEMEX complex, the Lázaro Cárdenas of Minatitlán refinery, and Cosoleacaque complex.

Perfect for both business and leisure travelers, the new three-story Hilton Garden Inn Coatzacoalcos will feature120 guest rooms, all with the Garden Sleep System®, ergonomic Mirra® chair by Herman Miller, LCD high-definition, flat-screen television, easy-to-set alarm clock with MP3 connectivity, a spacious work desk, and a “hospitality center” that features a mini refrigerator and coffee maker.
