Castello di Casole Names Kenyon Price as New GM

Industry Veteran Brings 30 Years of Hotel Management Experience to Award-Winning Tuscan Resort

May 28, 2013 - Timbers Resorts, one of the largest independent developers and operators of private boutique resorts and residence clubs, announced today that Kenyon Price has been named General Manager of Castello di Casole, a 4,200-acre estate in Tuscany, Italy. Price, an industry veteran with more than 30 years of hospitality experience including six years with Timbers Resorts, will oversee all daily operations across the estate including the 10th century castle-turned-boutique resort, Hotel Castello di Casole, as well as 28 private farmhouses and 10 Hotel Villas.

Throughout his time with Timbers Resorts, Price has played an integral role in the management, operations and hospitality vision for The Residences at Esperanza, as well as establishing operations management in the early stages of Castello di Casole. Price also developed his own luxury management and consulting company for hotels, restaurants and resorts named “The Art Of,” working directly with Esperanza, The Carneros Inn and Kona Village Resort. Prior to his time with Timbers Resorts, Price served as Vice President of Operations at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in North America and Europe, General Manager of Palazzo Arzaga Hotel & Resort in Italy and The St. Regis in Rome, and Senior Operations Executive for St. Regis and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

Timbers Resorts debuted the highly-anticipated 41-suite boutique hotel in July 2012 after a seven year meticulous and detailed restoration. The resort offers guests rustic Tuscan elegance in a spectacular setting featuring over 100 acres of vineyards and 33 acres of olive groves, a model game reserve, a state-of-the-art wellness center and some of the region's finest cuisine with opening rates starting from €325 per night.
