AH&LA Statement on Senate Passing FAA Funding
April 29, 2013 - AH&LA applauds the Senate for taking swift action to eliminate furloughs for air traffic controllers and stop the widespread delays recently seen at airports across the country. The Senate recognized that these delays had the potential for a devastating impact on the public, the travel industry - including very direct consequences on hotels and lodging - and ultimately the U.S. economy.
We urge members of the House to act quickly to pass this critical legislation to protect American jobs, and the President to sign it immediately.
