Palm Springs, CA - April 5, 2013 - Riviera Palm Springs - part of the Noble House Hotels & Resorts collection - announces a multi-million dollar recapitalization of the iconic 24-acre Palm Springs hot spot, including the revamped Chiki Bar & Pool, addition of seven executive meeting suites, and a third pool catering to guests looking for a more relaxed environment. Completed in March 2013, upgrades have also taken place throughout guest rooms and lobby areas to continue inspiring the desert's best-kept secrets.

Boasting the most meeting and event space of any Palm Springs hotel with more than 48,000 sq. ft., Riviera has added seven Summit Executive Meeting Suites, each 425 sq. ft. featuring individual restrooms and double privacy doors, with two of the suites offering dedicated Boardroom Smart Tables and 60-inch presentation monitors. Riviera provides flexible function space for any occasion, from large conventions in the 19,670-square-foot Grand Ballroom to intimate receptions among 15,000 sq. ft. of pristinely-manicured gardens, courtyards and 13 private poolside cabanas. Behind the scenes, attendees are treated to an unparalleled experience with Riviera's entourage of catering professionals and technical support.

Additional enhancements includethe renovation of the former Deep End pool to the 60s inspired Chiki Bar & Pool - a retro-Polynesian tiki-chic hideaway opened in February 2013. Paying homage to the infamous Chi Chi nightclub, the palapa-style Chiki Bar features lush landscaping, mid- century inspired progressive art, reggae beats and a relaxed island vibe. The addition of a third pool deck allows for private group bookings and special events, as well as guest access to 200 lounge chairs, eight signature cabanas, two fire pits, a relaxing Watsu pool for soaking and full bar offering food services and plasma TVs.

“We're thrilled to offer new experiences for guests to enjoy at Riviera,” says James Colee, President of Development for Riviera Palm Springs. “Whether meeting for business, tying the knot or simply enjoying a relaxing getaway, all guests will appreciate the renewed grandeur these enhancements bring to our desert escape.”

Riviera Palm Springs is an iconic playground of the past to the likes of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, characterized today as Old Hollywood glamour, with a fresh, playful twist. Creating a "re-mix" of 60s influences, from oversized crystal chandeliers and vibrant shag rugs, to Andy Warhol pop art and an eclectic blend of retro furnishings, Riviera Palm Springs also boasts hundreds of towering palms, sparkling pools, private cabanas and intimate poolside fire pits.
