Chesapeake Hospitality Promotes Clifford Ferrara and Chris Green to Executive Management

Greenbelt, MD - April 3, 2013 - based Chesapeake Hospitality, one of the country's fastest growing third-party hotel management companies ranked in the top 50 largest independent U.S. operators, announced today the promotion of Clifford Ferrara to Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management and Chris Green to Senior Vice President of Operations. Kim Sims, President of Chesapeake Hospitality, made the announcement.

Ferrara's career in the hospitality industry spans more than 30 years of working with many major hotel brands in both a sales and operational management capacity. His strong track record of industry accomplishments includes building highly focused sales and operation teams and leading them to success through hotel launch, ramp up, rebranding and repositioning of reflagged hotels. He has more than 10 years of excellent performance onsite with Chesapeake Hospitality hotels. Prior to joining the corporate team he successfully opened and managed the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach hotel, shaping its path to strong profitability and success. In his past four years as VP Sales & Marketing he has instilled this winning culture of success throughout the growing Chesapeake sales teams. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Hampden-Sydney College.

Green has more than 23 years of successful hotel operations and food and beverage management experience—adding to the depth of expertise on Chesapeake's corporate team. In addition to more than 10 years onsite at Chesapeake managed properties, Green has worked closely with national brands and more than 40 restaurants. Among his career successes, Green led the team at the Crowne Plaza Houston Downtown to the Quality Excellence Award for outstanding performance from Intercontinental Hotels Group in 2008. He is a certified hotel administrator and has served as president and board member for various tourism development and hotel and motel associations in key markets nationally.
