WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA - March 22, 2013 - Avi Brosh's Los Angeles-based Paligroup has announced the
opening of its newest hotel property, Palihouse Santa Monica, debuting in the beachside community in
summer 2013. Widely known for its two existing signature hotel properties, Palihouse West Hollywood and
Palihotel Melrose, Paligroup's whimsical yet refined aesthetic and residential-quality amenities have

ushered in a new era of comfortable, luxury hospitality to the Los Angeles market.

Established with the conviction that neighborhoods, unique local experiences and inspiring places are integral to a life well-traveled, the Palihouse brand has been designed so savvy long-stay guests can explore the people and places they visit 'authentically' - with space, style, sophistication and individuality.

The 36-room boutique beach lodge is in a Spanish Colonial Revival-style building that formerly housed The Embassy Hotel Apartments. It has been in operation since 1927 and boasts classic examples of Moorish-influenced Mediterranean Revival Architecture throughout, all meticulously maintained over the course of several decades. In 2001, the property was deemed a historic landmark by the City of Santa Monica.

Paligroup's Founder, President and Creative Director Brosh has combined his unique vision of a one-of-a-kind urban property with the stunning historical design elements already found throughout the building to create a sophisticated yet comfortable destination for style-conscious business and leisure travelers and locals alike. By embracing the property's historical structure, lush grounds and discreet location nestled among residential Santa Monica streets with easy beach access, Brosh has envisioned a central, beach chic destination that will bring a one-of-a-kind offering to the neighborhood and its guests.

The hotel's grand lobby features beautiful original historic al fresco ceilings, Malibu Tile floors, a grand wood-burning fireplace and blown glass doors that open onto a private outdoor patio. The space will be home to the “Palihouse Lobby Lounge” that will welcome guests with a cafe concept by day and a carefully curated cocktail and lounge menu for the afternoon and evening.

The property will feature four room categories: Classic Guest Suites (ranging in size from 300-500 sq. ft.), Studio Residences (600-750 sq. ft.), One Bedroom Residences (870-1120 sq. ft.) and Two Bedroom Residences (1450-2850 sq. ft.). Most rooms feature an authentic pied à terre layout, complete with fully equipped kitchens, separate vanity rooms, walk-in closets, and statuesque windows, all reminiscent of European-style urban apartments. In-room design elements include custom furnishings by Brosh and his design team and bespoke wallpaper from Abnormals Anonymous. Additional amenities include complimentary wireless and hard-wired Internet access in each room, personal refrigerator-stocking services, Dean & Deluca minibar treats, 40” Samsung flat screen televisions, and luxurious European bedding. Opening rates will range from $350 to $1,500 per night.

Palihouse Santa Monica will open to the public in summer 2013; more information can be found online at www.palihouse.com.
