Westin La Paloma Resort Creates Two Sales Positions

March 18, 2013 - The Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa created two new positions to enhance the resort's direct and indirect sales efforts and appointed Ty Crandall as business travel and leisure sales manager and Nicholas Haun as La Paloma Country Club membership and golf sales manager.

Before joining The Westin La Paloma Resort's sales division, Mr. Crandall enjoyed immense success in his role as leisure sales manager and a variety of managerial roles at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona. An Arizona native, Mr. Crandall earned a BS in Communication from Arizona State University after beginning his scholastic career at the University of Arizona. He is an avid outdoorsman and sports fan and is thrilled to return to and promote Tucson and Southern Arizona to his vast network of contacts in the leisure travel corporate, wholesale and agency communities. Mr. Haun, an avid golfer since age four, joins the La Paloma team from Nebraska where he served as a portfolio manager for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Inc., and before that, a new business development manager at National Research Corporation. He grew up in western Nebraska, and attended Hutchinson Community College on a golf scholarship before obtaining his degree in Business Administration from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mr. Haun is excited to be joining the team at La Paloma Country Club as it continues to improve the experience offered to members and resort guests. In his new role as La Paloma Country Club membership and golf sales manager, Mr. Haun will oversee all sales aspects relative to the country club, including individual and corporate membership sales and community charity events. He will work directly with The Westin La Paloma Resort sales team detailing in-house group activities and promoting golf amenities to leisure travel corporate, wholesale, and agency representatives.
