SANDUSKY, OH - March 15, 2013 - American Resort Management today announced that the Maui Sands Resort and Indoor Waterpark will open the waterpark on Friday, March 15th. The Maui Sands Hotel was purchased in early 2012 by Sun Development, Inc., and 136 rooms have been open while additional renovations and preparations for the reopening of the waterpark have been taking place.
Maui Sands Indoor Waterpark features over 45,000 sq. ft. of family friendly aquatic attractions; including featuring a giant bowl slide, three additional tube and body slides, an action river, multiple pool areas and a multi-level play structure, as well as unique areas for birthday parties. Maui Sands Hotel & Indoor Waterpark features newly renovated guest rooms and family suites with tropical themed furnishings, a video arcade, fitness center, business center, meeting space, dining options, and a complimentary continental breakfast each morning.
