December 26, 2012 - Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide, today announced its second property in Tampa, Fla., with the re-flagging of Hyatt Regency Tampa as Hotel Tampa, an affiliate of Hilton. Prior to being renamed Hilton Tampa Downtown in 2013, the hotel will undergo extensive renovations to the guest rooms, lobby, common areas, dining and restaurant amenities, ballroom and meeting spaces, fitness center and administrative offices. Hotel Tampa joins Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore, Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park, Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront and Hilton Clearwater Beach as the fifth Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the Tampa Bay Area.
