Windsor Capital Group (WCG Hotels) announced today that Paul Francisco is joining the firm as Chief Operating Officer, effective Sept. 10.

WCG Hotels owns and manages 20 properties in 11 states. Its hotel management arm, Windsor Management Services, provides full-service management for upscale branded properties.

Francisco joins WCG Hotels from John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, where he served as Regional Vice President of Operations for five years. He oversaw the operations for 16 hotels with nearly 800,000 square feet of meeting, convention and exposition space.

The brands under his purview while at John Q. Hammons included Embassy Suites, Marriott, Renaissance, Holiday Inn, Sheraton, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites. He oversaw the Embassy Suites in La Vista, Neb., which was ranked the brand's top hotel for three consecutive years as well as the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, Tenn., which was the brand's third-ranked hotel.

"Paul is a seasoned hospitality veteran with a reputation for professionalism and excellence," said Pat Nesbitt, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WCG Hotels. "We only had to look at his successful track record to see that he embodies our management philosophy of service to our guests, owners and employees. I am excited about the level of operational expertise and leadership he will bring to our organization."

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Francisco will be responsible for the company's day-to-day operating activities and long-term growth initiatives. These include revenue management and sales; expense, cost and margin control; operating procedures and initiatives as well as acquisition and growth activities.

"I am thrilled at the opportunity to join Windsor and become a member of this dedicated and professional team," said Francisco. "Across all positions, properties and job functions, everyone is equally determined to provide guests the best possible experience and maximize returns for the owners. The energy and commitment is contagious and I look forward to capitalizing on this high level of associate engagement."

Prior to his leadership role at John Q. Hammons, Francisco was Senior Vice President of Operations for Shaner Hotel Group. He oversaw the operation of 58 highly respected and nationally branded full-service and all-suite extended stay hotels; some that included TGI Fridays restaurants. He supervised assets that both were privately owned and operated under 3rd party management contracts and directed operations over several public-private ventures.

Francisco earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Economics, from Allegheny College. He has served as a guest speaker for the Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management program at Pennsylvania State University.

Francisco and his wife live in Nashville, Tenn. They have four children, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
