Kosmopolito International Appoints Frankie Lam as DoSM for Dorsett Regency Singapore
August 1, 2012 - Kosmopolito Hotels International is pleased to announce the appointment of Frankie Lam as Director of Sales and Marketing for its mid-scale business hotel, Dorsett Regency Singapore which is scheduled to open at the end of 2012.
Frankie brings with him a wealth of experience in the sales and marketing fraternity having gained invaluable experience from working with renowned international hotels in Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
He started his career as Business Development Manager in 1993 with The Westin Stamford & Westin Plaza Singapore before taking up the position as Director of Sales, MICE with Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok in 1996. Three years later, he joined River View Hotel Singapore in the capacity of Director of Sales before moving back to Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts in 2004 as Director of Business Development. In 2005, he was relocated to Hong Kong as Director of Sales for Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong.
In 2007, Frankie spearheaded the sales and marketing team of the 630-room Carlton Hotel Singapore. He was most recently the Director of Sales & Marketing for Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa, Singapore, a portfolio which he held for two years before taking up his position with Dorsett Regency Singapore.
In his new capacity, Frankie will play an instrumental role in the dynamic execution of the hotel's pre-opening marketing strategies including planning, budgeting and positioning of Kosmopolito Hotels International's first hotel in Singapore.
Frankie completed his earlier education at Harbord Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Canada and graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1988 from University of Wisconsin-Stout, USA.
