Melpo Wong Named Director of Distribution for Kosmopolito Hotels

July 10, 20112 - Melpo Wong joined our Group as Director of Distribution on June 14, 2012 and is based in KHI's Corporate Office in Hong Kong. She is responsible for managing the implementation process of the Central Reservation System; formulating and implementing the Group's long-term electronic distribution strategy as well as monitoring the establishment of SOPs; preparing and managing revenue targets. She reports directly to Mr Philip Schaetz, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Melpo brings along with her more than 21 years of marketing experience in the hospitality industry. Before to joining KHI, she was the Senior Regional E-Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific at Sabre Hospitality Solutions. Her other portfolios included senior positions with Alternative Marketing Consultancy Limited and Best e-Solutions Limited.
Melpo obtained a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Marketing at The University of Hull in United Kingdom. With her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge, Melpo is definitely a great addition to the Group's Sales and Marketing division.
