Hercy Hernandez Named as DoSM for the Quin in New York City
The 200-room Boutique Hotel is Scheduled to Open in Winter 2012
New York, New York - July 9, 2012 - Hercy Hernandez has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Quin, a new 200-room luxury boutique hotel slated to open this winter in New York City. The Quin is a joint venture between Three Wall Capital and Caro Enterprises.
As Director of Sales and Marketing for the Quin, Ms. Hernandez will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel's sales and marketing efforts, as well as for building new business relationships in the region. She will be reporting directly to General Manager, Holly Waterbor-Breuche.
Ms. Hernandez has more than 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry and earned a degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Virginia Tech University. Most recently as the Pre-Opening Sales Director for The Setai Fifth Avenue, Hernandez launched a brand new five star luxury hotel in New York City. She began her career in Washington, DC in hotel operations as Director of Front Office and Guest Services Director with Loews Hotels. As a Sales Manager, Ms. Hernandez was an integral part of the pre-opening team for three Kimpton Hotels; in Washington DC - The Hotel Monaco, The Hotel Palomar and in New York - Ink48. She also served as an Area Sales Manager for 7 Kimpton Hotels in Washington, DC, and most recently was the Global Account Director for Omni Hotels & Resorts, representing a portfolio of 50 properties.
