The Bowery Hotel Announces Audrey Laurent as Director of Sales
New York, New York - June 20, 2012 - Hoteliers Sean MacPherson and Richard Born are pleased to announce the appointment of Audrey Laurent to the Director of Sales of The Bowery Hotel. Laurent brings more than 18 years of hospitality experience to her current role, where she manages the day-to-day sales operations and responsibilities, including guest and employee satisfaction, revenue generation, and project management for the property.
For the last 18 years, Laurent has been involved in hotel operations for a number of boutique Manhattan properties, including the Mercer, the Paramount and the Ace Hotel. Most recently, Laurent served as Operations Director for the Mercer Hotel, where she honed her skills in hospitality management for over 10 years. In previous years, Laurent worked in management positions at the Ace Hotel and the Paramount Hotel, overseeing the daily operations, including managing hotel staff, overseeing service standards, and administering operational structure.
Laurent has consulted on various hotel pre-openings and development projects in New York and China. From 2008 to 2012, she served as an Operations Consultant on the Nolitan, The Z Hotel LIC, and the Pod 39 Hotel, and provided her expertise in operations, branding, design, and concept.

Originally from Washington DC, Audrey spent the majority of her upbringing overseas in Paris, Belgium and England. She now resides in New York City.
