Windsor Management Services Names New Property Leadership

Two new General Managers and six new sales staff join established team of hospitality professionals known for providing the industry's best customer service for guests and highest returns for owners.

SANTA MONICA, CA - June 14. 2012 - Windsor Management Services announced today several hotel management changes and the hiring of key sales leaders for properties across its hotel portfolio.

Windsor Management Services, the hotel management arm of Santa Monica-based WCG Hotels, is known for providing excellent customer service to its hotel guests and setting industry benchmarks for returns to its hotel owners. It manages nearly 30 upscale hotels across the United States.

General Managers named

Russell Hanover joins the Embassy Suites Brea North Orange County hotel team as General Manager. Hanover brings a unique hospitality background, having created online tools for booking leisure travel online. His back-end technology was used by the industry's most high profile online booking sites. Hanover's hotel management experience includes revenue, sales, marketing, and operations leadership.

Ben Kulak was named General Manager of the Embassy Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country hotel. Kulak has extensive experience with premier hotel brands, including Marriott, Sheraton and Embassy Suites. He knows all facets of hotel management, having started in the industry working at the front desk.

Sales leadership announced

Mark Barner was promoted to Director of Sales for the Embassy Suites Santa Ana Orange County Airport North. He had previously served as the property's Senior Sales Manager. Barner has 20 years of hospitality and sales experience, building a reputation for exceeding sales, revenue and service goals.

Naomi Briones has been named the Director of Sales for the Embassy Suites Arcadia hotel. She brings extensive experience with Embassy Suites, having served in positions of escalating sales responsibilities at three brand properties. Throughout her 17-year hospitality career, Briones has demonstrated consistent service to her clients, guests and owners.

Andrea Dong has been promoted to SMERF (Sports, Military, Education, Religious, Fraternal and Entertainment) manager for the Embassy Suites Brea North Orange County. Previously, she has served as the Reservation Coordinator.

Holly Hamlin joins the Embassy Suites Brea North Orange County team as Catering Sales Manager. She brings extensive sales experience to the position, most recently serving in the Event and Catering Services division of the Hilton Anaheim.

Kristine Manes-Jacobs will serve as the new Director of Sales for the Embassy Suites San Luis Obispo hotel. Jacobs brings more than 20 years of experience and multiple awards for leadership, service and sales excellence. She has delivered no-cost advertising and marketing solutions that increased ROI by double digits and consistently increased occupancy and budget metrics at premiere resorts on the East and West Coasts.

Cristina Lazar Lopez has been named the Director of Sales for the Embassy Suites Las Vegas Convention Center hotel. She brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and leadership roles, where she has overseen all aspects of hotel management. Lopez brings extensive familiarity with the highly competitive Las Vegas market, most recently serving as the Director of Sales for the Hilton Garden Inn.

Judy Rice will serve as the Director of Sales at the Embassy Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country hotel. She brings more than 15 years experience including three years previous experience as Director of Sales at the property. Throughout her career, her focus on service has contributed to her hotels earning 100 percent guest satisfaction while exceeding sales metrics.
