June 13, 2012 - The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deer Lake is owned by Deer Lake Express Hotel Ltd. and managed by Pacrim Hospitality, under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group and is located at 38 Bennett Avenue, Deer Lake, NL A8A 1A9.

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG) announces the opening of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deer Lake. The new conversion is part of an overall IHG effort to best meet the needs of business and leisure travellers to Deer Lake.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deer Lake is conveniently located by the Deer Lake Airport. Just a short drive from Gross Morne National Park and Marble Mountain Ski Resort, the hotel is in a prime location for travellers looking to get a taste of the Deer Lake's leisure activities and environment. For business travellers, the hotel is equipped with a business centre and 2000 sq feet of meeting space.

The new hotel includes features in keeping with the $1 billion Holiday Inn relaunch, the largest project of its kind in the history of the hospitality industry. First announced in 2007, the relaunch program creates a more contemporary brand image as part of the drive to increase quality and consistency across the global portfolio. The program focuses on arrival and welcome services, guestroom and guest-bath comfort, and a redesigned logo and signage.
