152-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott to Open in Long Island City, NY

Bethesda, MD - June 8, 2012 - Marriott International , Inc. (NYSE:MAR) is scheduled to open the 152-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Long Island City, NY this August. Located at 29-27 40th Road, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Long Island City/Queensboro Bridge will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Chase Hotel Group.

Located three minutes from Midtown Manhattan, four miles from LaGuardia Airport and 13 miles from John F. Kennedy International Airport, the hotel also offers guests convenient access to Queens Plaza, the Queens Zoo and just three minutes away from downtown New York City.
