Colorado's Sheraton Steamboat Resort Names New GM
June 5, 2012 - The Sheraton Steamboat Resort - Steamboat's only full-service luxury ski-in/ski-out resort and conference center - is pleased to announce that it has hired Daniel Pirrallo to serve as general manager.**
With more than 30 years of hospitality experience, Pirrallo most recently served as the general manager of the 269-room Millennium Hotel Harvest House in Boulder, Colorado. A graduate of Michigan State University, he previously was the general manager of the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago, the Sheraton Boston Hotel in Boston and the Sheraton Suites Wilmington Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware.
Pirrallo currently represents Colorado on the Board of Directors for the American Hotel & Lodging Association and is a past president of the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association, which named him “Hotelier of the Year” in 2009.
Located in the heart of Colorado's “Ski Town, U.S.A.,” the Sheraton Steamboat features 188 guest rooms and suites, all offering a modern mountain feel, LCD flat panel televisions, updated bathrooms and the “Sheraton Sweet Sleeper II,” a luxurious mattress and 300 thread count linens.
