Dorchester Collection Appoints Klaus Kabelitz GM at Le Richemond, Geneva
Reporting directly to Dorchester Collection's chief operating officer, François Delahaye, Kabelitz will be based on property at the company's first Swiss address.
May 4, 2012 - Dorchester Collection is delighted to announce the appointment of Klaus Kabelitz as general manager of Le Richemond in Geneva. Reporting directly to Dorchester Collection's chief operating officer, François Delahaye, Kabelitz will be based on property at the company's first Swiss address.
He brings to the company a wealth of experience, joining the team from his most recent position as general manager of The Berkeley, London, where he held the role since 2003. Prior to this, Kabelitz worked for eight years with Four Seasons in both Berlin and Londonand started his illustrious career with Hilton in London, Geneva and New York.
Kabelitz, a native of Germany, completed his hotel apprenticeship in Düsseldorf and the general manager program through Cornell School of Hotel Administration. Commenting on his new role, Kabelitz says, "I am delighted to join Le Richemond and take this prestigious hotel into a new era, particularly with the exciting schedule of renovations. I am passionate about delivering the ultimate in guest service and look forward to seeing Le Richemond back in its rightful position at the center of Geneva society."
Le Richemond joined Dorchester Collection's portfolio on August 1, 2011. Set on the banks of Lake Geneva, the iconic landmark 109 room hotel is Dorchester Collection's first third-party management agreement.
