Hotel Equities Notes Grand Re-opening of the Cabot Lodge Gainesville, FL
Atlanta, GA - April 23, 2012 - Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently celebrated the Grand Re-opening of the 208-room Cabot Lodge hotel located at 3726 SW 40th Boulevard in Gainesville, Florida with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by Deanna LoRusso, Hotel Equities Operations Coach. The hotel experienced a renovation of its guest rooms and public spaces. Teresa Roberson serves as the General Manager.

At the event, Ms LoRusso recognized and welcomed a number of local dignitaries including
Keith Perry, Florida House of Representatives; Brent Christensen, President and CEO, Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce; and Paula Delaney, Board of County Commissioners, Alachua County, Florida.
William D. (Bill) Bowen represented Atlanta-based Premier Hotel Corporation, owner of the property, and helped to cut the ceremonial ribbon. Hotel Equities entered into a long-term contract to manage the hotel in April 2011.
“We believe the renovation of this hotel is an investment in the Gainesville area,” said Mr. Bowen. “We are happy to be part the community's growth and success.”
The Cabot Lodge Gainesville Hotel is located close to Fred Bear Museum, University of Florida, and Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool and a fitness facility.
