Forbes Travel Guide Chairman to Headline Pan American Concierge Congress in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. April 18 2012. Making technology a more humanized tool for guest satisfaction will be the focus of the 17th Pan American Congress of Les Clefs d'Or Concierges in Las Vegas, April 26-29, 2012. Jeff Arnold, Chairman of Forbes Travel Guide, formerly Mobil Travel Guide, the gold standard of travel ratings and reviews for over 50 years, will introduce innovative concepts in technology to the over 500 top concierges in attendance , representing the gold service standard in leading hotels in the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Canada. Mr. Arnold, also the visionary behind Startle.com, Sharecare, Inc. and founder of WebMD, will offer his views on how the concierge can make and take emotional connections to a whole new level, using technology to enhance the guest experience.

The Congress will also feature Jeff Wielgopolan, Director of Executive Training, Forbes Travel Guide, to lead the audience of global concierges to better behavioral awareness of how Five-Star standards and expectations are achieved. Events will be held at various hotel properties and venues including MGM Grand, Aria Resort, Fremont Street, Caesars Palace, The Palazzo Resort, The Wynn and Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas amongst many other Las Vegas experiences. Delegates will be housed at The Signature at MGM Grand. Additionally, the Congress will welcome approximately 50 dignitaries from the travel industry, including International Presidents of Les Clefs d'Or from Europe and other continents, Las Vegas hotel leaders and tourism officials.
