Warwick Denver Hotel Appoints Elmir Lukac as Director F&B

. March 30, 2012

ARCH 29, 2012 - Elmir Lukac has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at Warwick Denver Hotel. He will be responsible for all operations at Randolph's Restaurant and Bar, as well as for the hotel's catering, including all meetings and events.

With a lifelong love of restaurant management, one of Lukac's goals is to get Randolph's and Warwick Denver “on the map” as an essential part of Denver's culinary community. “We have a great restaurant with a phenomenal chef. And to make it even better, I want to get back to the basics,” Lukac said. “My role will be to perfect the whole package by focusing on the food, the ambiance and continuing to provide exceptional customer service both in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.”

Lukac will also manage Warwick Denver's catering services, available throughout its 10,000 square-feet of renovated meeting, event and banquet space. All meeting rooms also have floor to ceiling windows offering aerial views of the Mile-High city, a unique perk not found anywhere else in Denver, and which provides a more comfortable environment for meetings and events.

Lukac will also oversee Randolph's patio renovations, expected to be complete by April just in time for warmer weather. Warwick Denver will continue to host monthly wine tasting events, enjoyed in the warmer months, which are popular destinations for socializing and tasting numerous wines while sampling the chef's hors d'oeuvres all against a background of live jazz. It will also be an ideal spot to dine al fresco for breakfast, lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch

“Elmir has been well-known in the Denver hotel and restaurant scene for some time now, and we are excited to bring him in as part of our team,” said Cole Mansfield, general manager of Warwick Denver Hotel. “With his extensive background in food and beverage management, and his passion for the business, we have no doubt his presence here will benefit both Warwick Denver and Randolph's.”

Born into the restaurant industry, Lukac began his first restaurant job in Croatia when he was only 12 years old. Fluent in Croatian, Norwegian, Swedish and English, his work overseas allows him to bring global perspectives to his new role at Warwick Denver. With over twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry, Lukac has held positions such as bartender, banquet manager, assistant general manager and general manager to director of food and beverage.

Lukac earned his Bachelor of Science in Navigation from Maritime University in Croatia. He holds an Alcoholic Beverage Certification, and is certified in Sanitation and Supervision, TIPS and the Red Cross.
