BUFFALO, NY - December 23, 2011 - Buffalo Lodging Associates is proud to announce that Machelle Collins has been hired as director of sales at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus-Polaris hotel, located at 8411 Pulsar Place in Columbus, Ohio.

A hospitality professional with more than 14 years of sales and operations experience, Machelle joined the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus-Polaris hotel from the Hampton Inn & Suites in the Easton area, where she served as director of sales for the past three years. Collins' previous experience includes sales management roles with various hotel brands including Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Embassy Suites. Machelle also spent four years working as the general manager of a Hampton Inn in Delaware, Ohio.

Ms. Collins currently resides in Centerburg, Ohio with her husband and two children.

The 118-room, 6-story Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus-Polaris hotel is located 15 miles from downtown Columbus, off of I-71 less than one mile from Polaris Fashion Place.
