Blue Harbor Resort & Spa Unveils Sophisticated New Look for 2012
Located on the shore of Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, the resort is completing a multi-million dollar upgrade and renovation
Sheboygan, WI - December 15, 2011 - Blue Harbor Resort & Spa, overlooking Lake Michigan, is completing a multi-million dollar renovation and upgrade to create a more classic lakeside resort atmosphere. Opened in 2004, Blue Harbor Resort is the only Sheboygan area property that is on lake Michigan and offers spectacular views and resort amenities. The resort, which was purchased by Claremont New Frontier, LLC earlier this year, is undergoing a repositioning to widen the appeal to families, couples, golfers, boaters, corporate groups, and destination weddings.
The renovation includes the updating of all 182 guest suites to create a more sophisticated feel and capitalize on lake views and the in-suite fireplaces. Already completed, each suite has new plush pillow top bedding, flat screen TVs and updated bath amenities. The Resort is also renovating its 16,800 square feet of meeting space which can accommodate groups of up to 600 people. The major Lobby renovation will begin in January and is schedule for completion by March in time for spring and summer. The new Lobby will welcome guests with spectacular and sweeping views of the lake. Sophisticated and comfortable furnishings will create a warm and inviting ambience that complements the Resort's classic and striking Victorian style architecture. In addition the restaurant and lounge adjacent to the Lobby is being completely remodeled and will re-open serving innovative American cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere that includes indoor and al fresco patio dining overlooking the Lake.
