SEATTLE - November 23, 2011 - Adding to its award-winning team, Cedarbrook Lodge in Seattle is pleased to announce the hiring of Ousmane Diop as the quintessentially Northwest hotel's rooms division manager.

Diop's responsibilities at Cedarbrook include front desk management; guest reservations and satisfaction; valet, bell and door services; housekeeping management; and assistance with the development of Cedarbrook's guest service staff training programs.

Most recently, Diop worked at The Westin Seattle as the front office and service express manager, where he was responsible for various business and operations initiatives for the award-winning 891-room hotel, including forecasting, staff training and scheduling, management of suppliers and vendors, and events management. Diop also served as Chair of the Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI) committee.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Diop double majored in agribusiness and geosciences with minors in management and travel and tourism.
