W Hotels Appoints Greg Findlay as General Manager

November 16, 2011 - W Hotels, the world's foremost "style" hotel brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Inc. has appointed Greg Findlay to the role of general manager at the W Seoul-Walkerhill, the first W Hotel in Asia.
Greg Findlay, a seasoned hotelier and management expert from New Zealand, has previously worked throughout Asia Pacific and as a General Manager in Indonesia, Thailand on two occasions and New Zealand since beginning his career with the Sheraton brand in New Zealand in 1992.
He had the opportunity to work with both the Sheraton and Westin brands prior to joining the W brand. Sheraton, Westin and W are all party of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading hotel and leisure companies with over 1,000 properties in 100 countries. Findlay was particularly recognized for the successful launch of The Westin Auckland in 2007 and The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa, Phuket in 2010.
Findlay, who makes a stylish impression studied Management and Marketing at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. Married with two daughters, he likes to spend his leisure time enjoying music and sports with his family. He is also a keen supporter of the New Zealand national rugby team, The All Blacks.
