Patrick Louis Joins Velas Resorts as Corporate F&B Director
November 3, 2011 - Mexico's Velas Resorts, four luxury all-inclusive resorts in three top beach destinations in Mexico, has named Patrick Louis as corporate food & beverage director. Louis is at the helm of the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Resorts in Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit and the Four Diamond Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta. In addition, Claudio Hotter was promoted to Executive Chef of Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. Positions are effective immediately.

Chef Louis holds a culinary degree from Saint Anne College in St. Nazaire, France and completed business studies at the University of North London. In addition, he is a member of the Les Toques Blanches culinary association as well as the Association Culinaire Francaise.
Born in Austria where he began his career, moving on to Spain and then Mexico, Chef Hotter joined the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit as Sous Chef in 2006.
