Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston Names Troy Clarke F&B Director
Boston, MA - May 23, 2011 - Troy Clarke has been named director of food and beverage at the Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston. In this role, he will oversee banquets, the culinary team, the pastry shop, ArtBar restaurant and patio, mini-bars, and in-room dining for the property. The Royal Sonesta offers 22,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and 400 luxurious guest rooms at its location on the Charles River in Cambridge.
Clarke has extensive experience in food and beverage, most recently as executive director of banquets for a Lowes Hotel. His local experience includes prior management roles at both the Westin Copley Place and the Ritz Boston. He is active in several professional organizations, including membership in the Society of Wine Educators, the United States Bartenders Guild, Guild of Sommeliers and American Sommelier, and is also a Hotel F&B Council Member.
