Hotels in midtown Manhattan are being repositioned as four-star properties
NEW YORK, NY, January 30, 2007. The Bentley, located at 500 E. 62nd St. (at York Avenue), on Manhattan's chic Upper East Side, is a few blocks from Bloomingdale's department store, with stunning views of the city and the East River. Rooms and lobby are newly renovated, with a modern, sleek style. Work is in progress, with new furniture, carpeting and lamps being added to the guest rooms. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant (cocktails and dinner only), 24-hour concierge and on-site parking.

Guest rooms have high ceilings and average 255 square feet, quite large for New York. Furniture is custom-made, bathrooms have spa-like showers, and guests can enjoy complimentary cappuccino at any time,' Dfouni says.
