Sales Culminate Successful Year for Resort

Telluride, CO - April 25, 2011 - The Peaks Resort & Spa a Grand Heritage Resort announced the closing of 31 condo sales April 4, 2011 in Telluride, CO. Under the new local ownership group Peaks Capital Partners, the property infused millions in upgrades to the resort recently as occupancy, sales and guest satisfaction spiked tremendously this season. The iconic Peaks Resort & Spa is well on its way to becoming the premier destination resort in Colorado.

In an interview with the Telluride Watch Cary added, "The Peaks is unparalleled by anything else in the market. Telluride's largest resort offered incentives to real estate brokers under 'The Founders Program' and promoted savings to potential buyers throughout the season. One of the reasons attributed for the Founders' Program success was the very affordable price point with whole ownership studios and suites starting at under $150,000.

"We are very excited with the initial sales success," Mike Hess, Director - Real Estate Marketing & Services said in a release. "We were able to hit the sweet spot in price point and amenity package. The future plans on the drawing board are only going to continue to make the property more and more attractive."

Land Title Guarantee Company, of Telluride, CO. is facilitating the condo transactions this month.

"We generally have 30 transactions in a whole month," said Robin Watkinson, Branch Manager of Land Title said in a recent interview with Telluride's Daily Planet. "It's a great sign."

Occupancy at The Peaks Resort and Spa was up over 20 percent and group nights were up 46 percent this past ski season.

"We have worked really hard this season to upgrade, improve and polish this resort, and the benefits are paying off," Hess said. "Purchasing at The Peaks is a great value, and our brokers did an amazing job exposing potential buyers to this luxury property."

The Peaks offered great bargains for buyers. Major renovations, including the upgrading and renovation of all guest rooms and two new spectacular decks off the Great Room and Palmyra Restaurants were completed this fall. The Spa, The Great Room, ballroom, meeting rooms and restaurants have all been remodeled. A new glass walled room, "The Crystal Room," has been created for special events and weddings.
