New York, NY - October 8, 2010 - The Westin New York at Times Square is please to welcome Terry Lewis as general manager. Lewis joins the 863-room hotel from the W Times Square where she held the same position. In her new role, Lewis will oversee all operations for the award-winning hotel and its 500-plus employees.

Lewis is an industry veteran of over 25 years, and boasts nearly 15 years of experience with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, the management company of The Westin New York at Times Square. Prior to the past year at the W Times Square, Lewis has held posts at the Four Points in Pittsburgh, Sheraton Suites in Columbus, Ohio, and the Sheraton Gateway Suites in Chicago. She is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where she received a Bachelor of Science in marketing.

Lewis takes the helm at an exciting time, as The Westin New York at Times Square recently completed a $24-million, four-year refreshment program, well-timed to the trend of rebounding business travel. The entire 863-room hotel, which opened in 2002, received upgrades in all areas including guestrooms, Bar 10 and the Majestic Ballroom. The enhancement's final stage, completed this spring, was 126 new Atrium Club Rooms and Atrium Club Lounge by renowned designer Vicente Wolf.
