Gracon retains responsibility for Hotel Le Germain Toronto on Mercer Street, the original Toronto boutique-hotel which she helped open.

Catharine Gracon Bio
Gracon's passion for hospitality was sparked young. Her father, a tourism profession veteran who travelled the world, inspired her to join Hilton and Utell Hotels and Resorts in sales while studying. She is a University of Toronto graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and English. She continued her education and obtained a computer science degree. Gracon launched her formal sales career at Xerox followed by experience at Supranational Hotels, a UK based consortium of more than 1000 hotels. She filled a senior sales role with responsibility for the Americas for this leading travel technology provider for hotel reservations and marketing. Gracon joined Groupe Germain more than seven years ago. She is active with several professional organizations, including the Downtown Association for Directors of Sales, SITE, Meeting Planners International and the Women's Executive Network.
