Kessler Names Courtney Tai Manager

DELRAY BEACH, FL, August 9, 2006. The Kessler Collection is pleased to announce Courtney Tai as hotel manager to its new managed property - The Sundy House in Delray Beach Florida.

As hotel manager, he will oversee the hotel's 11 luxury guest rooms and all hotel operations, including front desk, valet, housekeeping, engineering, security, accounting, and human resources.

Courtney comes to The Kessler Collection from the prestigious Fisher Island Hotel and Resort in Miami, where he served as general manager of the hotel since 2004. He has also previously held positions as director of operations at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Miami, director of front office operations for the Clinton Hotel and front office manager at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Miami, where he was promoted to senior sales manager.

"Courtney brings with him a wealth of hospitality experience, as well as a long-standing relationship with the surrounding communities," said Stuart Newmark, senior vice-president of operations for The Kessler Collection. "He is the ideal candidate to lead this property as it transitions into our family."

A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Courtney attended Westervelt Business College in London, Ontario where he received a degree in hospitality management in 1977, relocating to Florida shortly after graduation. Courtney now lives in Miami with his wife and two children.

In his role, Courtney will report directly to Stuart Newmark, senior vice-president of operations for The Kessler Collection.
