Benchmark Appoints Greg Poplewko VP of Food & Beverage

HOUSTON, TX, August 2, 2006. Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed Greg Poplewko project vice president of food and beverage for French Lick Resort Casino, located in French Lick, Indiana. Bob Zappatelli, Benchmark's vice president food & beverage, made the announcement.
"Greg brings many years of casino food and beverage expertise to his new position at French Lick," said Mr. Zappatelli. "We welcome him and his vast knowledge to this magnificent resort in the heart of the Midwest."
Prior to joining French Lick, Mr. Poplewko was employed by Harrah's Entertainment as division director of food and beverage for Bally's and Paris, Las Vegas, responsible for annual revenues in excess of $150 million.
For five years, Poplewko was part of Caesar's Entertainment, involved with the successful development of five restaurants from concept to completion, while overseeing 16 restaurants and food outlets, six lounges, and a large banquet operation capable of serving 10,000 guests. Mr. Poplewko also worked previously with Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises of Chicago. He is a graduate of The University of Arizona. He and his family have relocated to Bloomington, Indiana.
