"Our hotels won three of the 19 top awards out of 229 hotels in the Hilton system, which is a remarkable statistic," said John Belden, Davidson's CEO and president. "No other independent Hilton Hotel operator matched our success. This is the largest number of Hilton awards we've won in a single year in our company's 40-year history. What makes this especially rewarding is that we were able to outperform the top hoteliers across the country in a year when the hotel industry is performing at top levels. Our hotels continue to show strong growth through the first half of 2006, and the outlook remains very positive."
